Ram Krishnan - 22 from Australia The perceptions people have about South Africa in some countries seem to be quite negative. So on arrival to Cape Town, I was prepared to meet my ride to the AVIVA house with an entourage of heavily armed men. But instead I was met with the cool and friendly Lyndon who was to escort me to my accommodation at Table View. He was so helpful, funny and nice. This was to set the standard for the rest of the time I spent in Cape Town.
I spent 6 of the most unforgettable and memorable weeks of my life in South Africa. While I was in Cape Town, activities such as Shark Cage Diving, or climbing Table Mountain, just to name a couple, were incredible. The other tours offered by AVIVA were also great and very informative and interesting. Cape Town is now one of my favourite places on Earth!!
Doing the 4 week ranger course - amazing. Every day in the bush was a new day of learning, adventure and excitement. You may never know what you may come across the next corner on a game walk or drive!! I really did not want to leave when the time came to go!
But the best thing about the trip is the fact that you get to meet and make new friends different people from all over the world.
Without the kind support and assistance of AVIVA staff, my trip to South Africa just wouldn’t have been the same, and I am very thankful for their help!
Great job guys, loved South Africa!
